What's new in the Cadillac XT4 for 2025?

The Cadillac XT4 is a popular small luxury crossover with comfortable seating for up to five passengers. For the 2025 model year, Cadillac has discontinued the base Luxury trim and made the Premium Luxury the new entry-level model. The Active Safety package that was optional before is now included on all trims, giving Sandy Springs and Johns Creek buyers lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control and a surround-view camera system.

The engine and performance

Every new 2025 Cadillac XT4 is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 235 horsepower. The engine is teamed up with a nine-speed automatic transmission and your choice of front- or all-wheel drive. The 2024 Cadillac XT4 Sport model can travel from zero to 60 mph in 7.0 seconds. On the other side of the equation, the XT4 can stop with authority, bringing this Cadillac from 70 mph to an emergency stop in just 165 feet. Fuel economy in the 2025 Cadillac XT4 is rewarding, with front-wheel drive versions giving you 24 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on Alpharetta and Roswell highways.

Interior highlights in the new Cadillac XT4

The cabin of the new XT4 is spacious and comfortable with a dashboard and upper door panels covered in a stitched faux-leather wrap. There's a good amount of space in the front row as well as the rear seat and the amount of cargo space behind the back seat is above-average for the class. You'll find 22.5 cubic feet of storage room when the rear seats are upright and 48.9 cubic feet when the rear seats are folded down. A power liftgate is a standard feature and North Fulton County customers can get a hands-free power liftgate as an available option.

Technology in the new Cadillac XT4

The 2025 Cadillac XT4 come with a standard Google-based 33-inch digital display along with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Wi-Fi hotspot, a seven-speaker stereo system and satellite radio. A standard natural voice recognition feature lets you operate internal controls or you can use a controller mounted on the center console. Available tech upgrades include a sunroof and a premium AKG audio system with 14 speakers.

Safety features in the new Cadillac XT4

The new Cadillac XT4 comes with a long list of standard safety features including forward collision warning, forward and reverse automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and a seat belt indicator in the second row. Available safety upgrades include a head-up display, a rear camera mirror and a surround-view camera system.
