ESV stands for Escalade Stretch Vehicle, distinguishing it from the standard Escalade by its larger size. While the seating capacity remains unchanged, the Escalade ESV is approximately 16 inches longer than the standard Cadillac Escalade. This extra space affords the ability to fit more cargo.
Compared to the maximum cargo space of 121 cubic feet on the standard Escalade, the ESV has a maximum cargo space of 142.8 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down and 41.5 cubic feet of cargo even with the rear seats up. Back-row passengers have a maximum legroom space of 36.6 inches; that's an extra 1.5 inches compared to the standard Escalade.
What Are the Performance Options?
The 2023 Cadillac Escalade ESV comes standard with an intelligent 10-speed automatic transmission, the option for two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive capabilities, and a 6.2-liter V8 engine that delivers 420 horsepower. The dynamic fuel management system and variable valve timing technology also enable up to 460 pound-feet of torque of efficient torque.
A supercharged 6.2-liter engine delivers 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque for drivers who want to excel on the road. An optional 3.0-liter Duramax turbo diesel engine also delivers 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
