From Convenience to Safety, Cadillac Offers a Slew of Technology Features

Modern technology is becoming more and more advanced. The same is true about the technology in your Cadillac. There are a series of technology features available that are designed to make your life easier. From convenience technology to safety technology, Cadillac has it all. Check out our short breakdown of some of these features below and let us know which feature is your favorite!

Convenience and Connectivity Technology

Several Cadillac SUV models, such as the Cadillac XT5 and the Cadillac Escalade, have a series of convenience technology features. One of these features is the hands-free liftgate. This available technology opens and closes automatically by swinging your foot under the sensor. There is a memory height function that allows you to program its opening height to your specific preference.

A key feature that you will notice when you get in the driver’s seat is the Infotainment system. It allows you to connect to the world through a variety of applications, like your maps, weather and music. You can connect your phone using Apple ® CarPlay ™ and Android Auto ™ capabilities. Real-time traffic updates are made through the navigation system for accurate turn by turn direction. The days of getting lost on Atlanta streets are over with this feature.

There is a lot of iconic music coming out of Atlanta. The available Bose ® 14-speaker Studio Surround Sound System allows you to listen to all of it with crisp and clear sound quality. With Bose ®, you won’t miss a beat of your favorite artist’s next album.

That’s not all for Cadillac technology! Cadillac also offers an innovative rear camera mirror, wireless device charging, and a customizable instrument panel. Features like the head-up display project selected vehicle information to your windshield so you don’t have to take your eyes off of the road to check your directions. Other features such as the selectable drive modes allow you to configure your vehicle setting to best match road conditions. With all of these features, it’s no wonder that Cadillac is held in such high regard.

Safety Technology

While technology can keep us entertained, it can also keep us safe. Cadillac SUV and car models, like the Cadillac CT6 and ATS, offer a variety safety features that monitor the road around you for danger. When they pick something up, they will warn you.

Some of these advanced safety features can even make adjustments to your Cadillac to help it avoid, or hinder the damage from, a collision. To learn more about these advanced systems, check out our breakdown below!

  • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning: Have you ever felt yourself drifting from your lane? This feature will not only warn you when you begin to sway but will even take corrective measures to help you stay in your lane.
  • Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert: Have you ever been cruising down I-20 or I-285 and were nervous to change lanes due to heavy traffic? With this feature, you can change lanes with confidence. It monitors your blind spot and warns you when someone is hiding there.
  • Surround Vision: Checking out the Atlanta Botanic Garden or the Atlanta History Center is fun but parking can be stressful. With Surround Vision you have a 360-degree view around your vehicle so you can park with ease.
  • Pedestrian Braking: We all get distracted from time to time. To ensure that folks around you are safe, this vehicle has an available braking system that automatically brakes when it detects a pedestrian in your path.
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert: There is nothing worse than backing out of a parking space and being unable to see if other vehicles are approaching. This traffic alert uses radars to sense vehicles around you and alert you when one of them is approaching the rear of your Cadillac.
