Traveling from Oklahoma to each coast since ownership of Pathfinder. Do not care for the way calculating avg gas mileage works. Only hit 27 mpg once or twice, the rest of time lower 20's. Not the most desirable look overall, but it is comfortable and smooth ride. My 7th Nissan since 1991. Reliability @95%. Fuel injector failure lead to towing and Nissan Corp. Engineers to resolve...after two weeks. Will still buy another Nissan, not same year or style on because of looks. Want Nissan to make lighter interiors again. Dark are too hot and closed in.

Overall a great vehicle for my family. Has done everything we have asked it to do. Interior is intuitive and comfortable. Tons of space. All maint. (brakes/oil changes/ etc.) done by me using OEM Nissan and premium aftermarket parts. At 105,000 mile I had my first non-standard failure in the form of the Driver Side Radiator fan dying (not bad; but $$$). Factory Nissan Paint SUCKS. I have had two new Nissans (2012 Altima SL) and both vehicles paint chips extremely easy. By 30,000 miles you could have sworn I was rally racing or tailgating a dump truck for all its life. Due to an accident, the front end got repainted and I have not had a single paint chip since (added ~60,000 miles since then). As a DIY mechanic, servicing things like the CVT trans is scary. IMHO, the CVT in ANY Nissan vehicle is Nissan's biggest, weakest link in the vehicles. After seeing the 2017 Facelift to the Pathfinder and the later release of the Midnight and Rock Creek editions, I would consider buying a Rock Creek if I were in the market again. I am big into off road, customization, etc. This generation of the Pathfinder is seriously lacking in aftermarket support and styling. Based on this, I might have chosen the Toyota 4Runner.
